How AirCarers Companion Works
Arranging a companion for an older relative in Hertford, Ware, Hoddesdon, Broxbourne, Bishop's Stortford and Sawbridgeworth, across the SG11 to SG14, EN10 to EN11, CM21 and CM23 postcodes, takes four simple steps. Tell us the postcode where visits should happen so we can match nearby companions. Browse profiles, training and verification badges to choose the right person. Pick a 15 minute interval slot, authorise payment, and the companion confirms. On the day, the companion checks in on arrival, the visit takes place, and you rate it afterwards.
Every companion is enhanced DBS checked, ID verified, fully insured and trained. Companions set their own hourly rate, and most of what you pay goes to the companion. Family cancellation policy for bookings made on or after 2 October 2026: free with 24 hours notice or more, half the visit price from 2 hours up to 24 hours, the full price under 2 hours, and the whole charge goes to the companion.
