Insurance for Companion Visits
Companions using AirCarers Companion are covered by insurance for companionship visits, which is one of the checks we make before a companion is activated on the platform. Cover is for the companionship work companions actually do: visiting, sitting and talking, accompanying someone on a walk or an outing, and light everyday help around the home.
Cover does not extend to regulated activity, because that is not what this platform is for. Personal care, medication, nursing and clinical tasks are outside both the service and the insurance, and we are not a CQC registered agency. Insurer and policy specifics are available on request rather than published here. If you are doing your homework before booking for a parent, that is exactly the right instinct: call 07455 750006 or email lucie@aircarers.co.uk and we will talk you through it, and see our vetting page for the checks each companion completes.
