Who We Help
AirCarers Companion supports any adult in Hertford, Ware or the surrounding SG11 to SG14 area living with loneliness or isolation. That includes older adults who find the days long, people who have lost a partner or close friend, families who live too far away to visit as often as they would like, disabled and partially sighted adults who want a friendly face to go out with, and people recovering after a hospital stay who need company through the first uneasy weeks at home.
Companionship is a chat over tea, a walk, a lift to an appointment, or a bit of help around the home. It is not clinical care and we are not a CQC registered agency. Every companion is enhanced DBS checked, ID verified, fully insured and trained; you choose the person yourself from public profiles, rates are shown upfront from £25 per hour, companions keep 80% of what you pay, and there are no contracts or minimum hours.
